Museum opening times Christmas 2017 in Florence

Palazzo Vecchio open until 11pm and on January 1

Visit Florence’s city museums for longer this holiday season thanks to additional and extended opening hours effective until January 6, 2018.


The Palazzo Vecchio will remain open until 11pm from December 26 to January 6, 2018, as well as opening on January 1 from 2 to 7pm (it will be closed on Christmas Day). The Museum of Santa Maria Novella will be open on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, while the Museo Novecento will open on January 1 but not on December 25.

Open daily, 9am-7pm, except Thursday (open 9am-2pm)
