The American International League
The American International League ONLUS (AILO) is holding its annual Christmas bazaar on December 8, its main fund-raising event of the year, at the Pagliere (ex-Scuderia Reale), in Piazza della Calza. With a goal of raising 35,000 euro, AILO will distribute the proceeds to a number of Florence charities, according to vote by AILO members. Donations can also be made by participating in a lottery that includes the following prizes: two round trip plane tickets to Barcelona, dinners for two at a from Angela Caputi, cases of wine. Lottery tickets, which cost 2.50 euros each, are sold by AILO members and can be bought at places like the British Institute Library. For more information see, www.ailoflorence.org
