Seven dogs living in a kennel in Groppoli di Mulazzo survived flooding and mudslides in the Lunigiana last month and they are now being housed in Florence's largest city-run dog kennel in Ugnano. The Ugnano Animal Park is calling on citizens to adopt the dogs and others in the kennel, all of which need a home. Those interested go to the kennel on Viuzzo del Pantanino, from Monday to Friday, 9:30 to 11:30 (Tuesday and Thursday also from 3 to 5pm); or call 055/7352018, 055/753224 for an appointment.
