The city of Florence rewards bloggers

Blogstar Contest to promote local culture

The city of Florence announces a contest to help promote the best of Florentine cultural events on the web. 18 to 35 year old bloggers and social media influencers are invited to apply online at www.florenceblogstar.com, and the prize is digital citizenship of Florence conferred through a virtual handshake from our Mayor, Matteo Renzi.

 

Contestants have to present a blogging project in English. The digital content produced by the winner will be published on the city's website. The goal of the contest is to promote the city's cultural offerings to a young public online, relying thus on the public to suggest the most interesting things happening in the city right now.
