Between March and May, more than 150 young musicians ages 14 to 25 will take part in concerts in various venues across the city, under the mentorship of internationally known musicians including Alain Meunier, Anne Le Bozec, Stuart Patterson, Nina Uhari, Antonino Siringo and Edoardo Rosadini, the director of the Orchestra dei Ragazzi. Many of these leading musicians are involved on a volunteer basis.

All concerts offer free admission. The first is scheduled for Wednesday, March 1 at 9pm, and will be put on by the Orchestra dei Ragazzi della Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, who recently won the gold medal at the World Orchestra Festival in Vienna.

The project runs in collaboration with the Dipartimento politiche europee - Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri, with financing by the Fondazione CR Firenze and by the EUI Historical Archives of the European Union (directed by Dieter Schlenker).
