On loan from the Brooklyn Museum, Giovanni della Robbia's monumental "Resurrection" lunette returns to its home until April 8, 2018.

The show displays the lunette side by side with “Scena Fissa,” a piece by the acclaimed contemporary artist Stefano Arienti, who was directly inspired by Della Robbia’s work.

The show has been made possible in large thanks to the Antinori family, renowned wine producers and arts patrons of the new millennium in Tuscany. Through their Antinori Art Project, they bring contemporary artworks to their Chianti Classico area wine cellars. An Antinori ancestor originally commissioned Della Robbia to create the lunette. Now, nearly five centuries later, the same family funded the lunette’s restoration.
