Enjoy a rare chance to party on Polimoda's exclusive grounds on Villa Favard during a special event honoring the school's ties across the Atlantic.

Polimoda's "American legacy" runs deep: it was founded 30 years ago by the Fashion Institute of Technology and Emilio Pucci, and its president is Ferruccio Ferragamo, son of Salvatore, known as the "shoemaker to the stars" of Hollywood. A new agreement with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has brought the links to the stars and stripes back in the spotlight.

In light of world events and growing tensions, the All Stars event is "Polimoda’s statement of cultural solidarity and long-established kinship towards Florence’s ever-growing international community of professionals, expats, students and creatives," say the organizers. The cocktail party will open with a welcome speech given by President Ferruccio Ferragamo, along with remarks by Florence's Councillor for Economic Development Cecilia Del Re, United States consul general Benjamin V. Wohlauer and Director Danilo Venturi, followed by drinks and a delicious buffet. Ricardo Baez and Michael Byrne, resident DJs of Tropical Animals, will spin a set, and a small exhibition will showcase December back issues of various magazines from Polimoda's library archive.

Registration is mandatory on the event website.
