Works by the Irish sculptor Paddy Campbell in dialogue with those of the Tuscan painter Simona Dolci. The artists' focus is on the everyday sphere and on intimacy rooted in movements, bodies, feelings, and the most salient moments of human life. Think men and women absorbed by the most quotidian activities and attitudes, shown expressing the emotions associated with love, maternity and sensuality against the chaotic background noise of everyday life. Through Campbell's bronzes and Dolci's paintings, the artists hope to highlight the necessity of stripping away the distractions of modern life and getting back to these essential feelings.
