Ahead of a sold-out June lecture at the Tate Modern in London, the acclaimed poet, writer and educator Anthony Anaxagorou will be in Florence for an afternoon of workshops (2.30-4.30pm) aimed at middle and high school students with a passion for English, followed by a free performance open to the public (6pm). Refreshments will follow.

In addition to guest lecturing at numerous prestigious universities (Oxford, Loughborough) and appearing on various media outlets and channels (BBC Radio 4, Vice UK, Sky Arts) Anaxagorou is the founder of poetry and live music night Out Spoken and its affiliated publishing house Out Spoken Press, a response to the lack of diversity in British publishing.

Booking for both portions of the event is required via the event contact at top right.
