Their efforts foiled by a guard, four Italian mob bosses were recently
caught trying to procure meals that were not on the prison menu. The four
Camorra bosses, all serving life sentences in a correctional institution in Trapani, Sicily, offered the guard 1,500
euro per month to bring them lobster, caviar, champagne, buffalo-milk
mozzarella and the Neapolitan delight, babà. The guard agreed to the
deal, then reported it to his superiors, who later filmed the incriminating
cash handover.
