Big boxing makes its grand return to Florence’s
Mandela Forum on March 13 when Leonard Bundu and French boxer Brice Faradji vie
for the European Union welterweight championship. ‘In recent years, we have
worked closely with the Florentine Boxing Academy in an effort to bring big
events back to Florence…we expect that the event will be successful since the
city’s interest in boxing has notably increased in the last few years’, said
Sport superintendent Eugenio Giani.
