Over 100,000
buildings in Italy now feature a photovoltaic system, according to a
survey conducted by Gruppo Immobiliare.it through its website,
NuoveConstruzioni.it. The survey also showed that the region with the
most buildings using solar-panel systems is Lombardy, with 15,000,
though the southern region of Puglia generates the most solar energy
in Italy. The state recently passed a new incentive plan to further
encourage the installation of solarsystems, which can cost up to
20,000 euro.
