Officials in Rome recently announced that the public will soon have access to the
structure atop the Palatine hill in the Roman Forum. Measuring 160 metres long
and 48 metres wide, it is set to reopen sometime in spring 2011. Officials also
recently completed a new illumination system in the Roman Forum to spotlight
the ancient archaeological area at night.
