Italy's football world is reeling from the latest match-fixing scandal, allegedly involving players from almost all levels of Italy's professional football league. So far, 16 people have been arrested for match-fixing, among them current and former players from the Serie A, Serie B and Serie C as well as club directors from the lower leagues. Those arrested have been charged for their roles in rigging games to assure the outcomes of bets. Investigators are looking into the results of some 30 matches this season.
