The 2012 U.S. election season is well
underway, but it is not too late to register to cast your ballot abroad.
On June 14, Democrats Abroad, in collaboration with Votefromabroad.org,
is hosting a non-partisan event at the U.S. Consulate (via Lungarno
Amerigo Vespucci 38) from 2-6pm
. U.S. voters will be able can register to vote and
hangout with other Americans. There will be an aperitivo and potluck
dinner to follow at 7pm (RSVP: cathleen.compton@gmail.com).

 

All Americans, regardless of party affiliation, are invited to
attend this event, which is part of the two-month long Democrats Abroad
road trip voter registration drive. Beginning their journey in Munich, Germany, a bus
of volunteers will travel to 26 cities until July 10 to register voters
and campaign for the 2012 elections.

 

Other Italian cities that will be
visited are Venice (June 13), Rome (June 14) and Milan (June 16). For
