Fifty fines have been issued in one month to owners of vehicles lacking authorization to drive over Florence’s Ponte Vecchio.

 

Florence’s city police have upped checks of vehicles passing over the world-famous bridge.

 

Most unauthorized access occurred between 6 and 8.30am.

 

The city police will continue their checks over the next few months.
