Prato’s Museo del Tessuto will host the General Assembly of the European Textile Collectivities Association (ACTE) on June 14 and 15. The event will celebrate ACTE’s 25 years of activity and adherence to its mission: “to represent and defend the interests of territorial collectivities and adherent organisations that represent territories with a presence of textile, clothing, leather, footwear and fashion accessories sectors.”
Representatives from all over Europe will elect the network’s next Presidency for 2016–2019. The City Council of Terrassa’s term is coming to an end. Prato joined the association in 1992 and currently serves as the National Presidency.
