In the lead up to the holiday season, and just before American Thanksgiving is celebrated across the Atlantic, Pisa’s historic Teatro Verdi will host the seventh edition of the Pisa Gospel Festival.
Taking place on November 23, the charitable event will feature the Voices of Heaven gospel choir, directed by Maestro Sandro Macelloni and founded by Massimo di Pietro. A community group with international participants, the choir performs a wide range of music, from spirituals inspired by 18th-century hymns to original renditions of contemporary classics. Proceeds from the evening will be donated to ADMO (Associazione Donatori Midollo Osseo) and will go toward the creation of a scholarship fund for work on tissue typing.
Tickets will be available through Vivaticket beginning November 8.
