The EY Strategic Growth Forum Mediterranean will take place in Rome on February 9 and 10, a meeting place for businesses and investors across the Mediterranean region to discuss investment and development opportunities.
Held at the Hotel Rome Cavalieri, the forum will centre on four themes: digital technology and impact; renewable energy and energy efficiency; security and cyber-security; and infrastructure and logistics.
A number of business and investment leaders from across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, India and China are expected to attend, including Italian foreign minister Angelino Alfano, Libya’s deputy prime minister Ahmed Maiteeq, Tunisian development minister Fadhel Abdelkéfi, secretary-general of the Mediterranean Union Fathallah Sijilmassi, senior director of European affairs at the Aspen Institute Marta Dassù, CEO of Banca IMI Gaetano Miccichè, European Commission inter-institutional relations director Bernard Brunet, and CEO of ENEL Green Power Francesco Venturini.
EY will present the third edition of its BaroMed Report, which analyses data and trade in the Mediterranean, as well as foreign investments and migrant flows among the 28 countries of the EuroMed region.
