Riding the bus is about to become less bland: Radio Firenze, in collaboration with LMF Italia, a concessionaire of ATAF Spa, has launched “Trova la fermata. Scopri Firenze” (Find the Stop, Discover Florence), a scavenger hunt initiative designed to get Florence’s younger citizens acquainted with the city’s artistic heritage.

Through Radio Firenze’s broadcasting, its social media channels and the involvement of some of the city’s noted figures, participants will be given a series of clues about the area around a select bus stop from the approximately 2,500 around the city. Clues will involve a mix of history and neighborhood fun facts. Those who correctly guess the bus stop, submitting a photo of it to Radio Firenze via Whatsapp (3929.954954), will win a prize. Up for grabs are tickets to the Grande Museo del Duomo, Orchestra da Camera e Stagione Toscana Classica concerts, a visit for two to Cecchi Winery and numerous other offers from partner institutions.

The initiative, launched May 29, will continue for one year, with a new stop introduced each month (excluding August). Stay tuned to 95.4 Firenze and follow the Radio Firenze Facebook page to participate.
