Only a few steps from the Palazzo Pitti, down a quaint little alley, is the Beaded Lily jewelry shop run by American couple Timothy James and Lily Mordà. Located in the handcrafting district of Florence, this unique, colorful shop offers one-of-a-kind pieces, from necklaces to bracelets and everything in between. Tim, a glass artist, personally makes many of the beautiful beads available for sale, while Lily, a professional jewelry designer, helps design them. In addition to selling their hand-made products, which are  assembled on site, Tim and Lily also sell interesting beads and jewelry-making components from all over the world. But the best product for sale is the custom piece you haven't yet crafted! Tim and Lily would be more than happy to help you design your own piece. They even offer seminars for those who would like to learn jewelry- and glass-bead making. While you wait for your personal creation, you can read a copy of The Florentine, as Beaded Lily is also a distribution point. More than just a place to shop, the Beaded Lily is a creative experience.
