Nearly five months have passed since the premier issue of The Tuscan Times and we’re proud to now bring you the winter edition—packed with tips for your Yuletide, full-length features on exclusively Tuscan experiences, and some unexpected sides of this special place.

One thing you can always expect to find in Tuscany, however, is a table—and, more importantly, your place at it. Ever since the stylish pages of the summer TTT issue went to press, we’ve been working on building our own ‘table’—our network of passionate writers, photographers and community supporters. We’re driven forward by the enthusiastic reception we’ve had around the region and even beyond it. Our Cortona correspondent Oonagh Stransky launched The Tuscan Times book club with few expectations—but before she knew it, she was mingling with Italy lovers across the Atlantic, sharing her story of connecting Tuscany’s international community with TTT readers in New York City (at Mi Garba, a Tuscan concept store near Union Square).

So what’s next for The Tuscan Times? Take a seat at our table because that’s for you to decide—if you live here and have a story to tell, an event you’d like to organize or an insider tip that you think we should follow, we want to hear from you. Start prepping those pitches and sending those hidden stories in your area to info@thetuscantimes.com –we can’t wait to hear them and to see how TTT evolves in the new year. We all know that in Italy, the best stories begin a tavola.

Until next time,

Mary Gray
