It may be a grey day, but work at the Duomo never stops. On the morning of November 6, 2017, monitoring got underway on the external marble facades of Florence Cathedral, its bell tower, cupola and baptistery.

The Grande Museo del Duomo will be keeping an eye on the structures every couple of weeks thanks to a crane with a whopping 104-metre-long arm.
