Florence welcomed Fiorentina’s new head coach with open arms last week. In a move that seems to have satisfied team officials and fans alike, the ex-Roma coach will now take his place as the leader of Florence’s team, which struggled to stay in the Serie A championship this past season.
When Prandelli appeared at the stadium, over 2,000 fans were there to welcome him with cheers, as well as the usual Florentine wit. Amidst the crowd a banner was unfurled that read “A Cesare who refuses Rome! Dante Prandelli!”
