Worldwide
fans of Calcio Storico Fiorentino will soon have the chance to watch some 30
past matches on a new Web Tv platform that will also broadcast calcio storico
games online. The initiative is the result of a collaboration between the
American firm, called Film Annex, which distributes films and videos online,
and the city of Florence.
‘The
worldwide public can now watch calcio storico games without having to access
the public archives,’ reads the press release for the new service. By clicking
onto www.calciostoricotv.com, aficionados
can access matches from 1988 to the present.
According to Film Annex, fans of America’s Ultimate Fighting Championship
will likely revel in the trials and tribulations of the Calcio Storico
Fiorentino, as well.
