Pippo Pollina is probably more famous outside Italy
than he is in his native Palermo. The
singer-songwriter is playing in Florence
to celebrate his seventh album, Rossocuore. The album was inspired by classic
literary figures such as Joyce, Pavese and Baudelaire and includes the same
intelligent and cultivated lyrics that his fans have come to expect. A ‘Best
of’ album, spanning his 25 year musical career, is due to coincide with the
tour.
