The world’s largest trade fair focused on dance returns to Florence, and four days of dance-offs, competitions, auditions, performances, free dance lessons and special guests from the world of dance are in store at this sixth annual homegrown event. Among the special events include Pilates workshops; the second annual Made in Cuba Festival, celebrating Caribbean beats; and Dance the Flow, a journey through dance history. During the fair, prominent dance companies from around Italy and abroad will hold auditions, and representatives from some of Italy’s most prestigious theaters will be present, among them the Arena di Verona, the Teatro San Carlo of Naples, the Teatro del Maggio Fiorentino, the Teatro dell’ Opera of Rome, the Teatro Massimo of Palermo and the Teatro Petruzzelli of Bari.
