On Saturday, March 31, from 4 to 6pm, the
St. James Children’s Lending Library will hold an Easter egg decorating party
in the St. James Church Undercroft.
Featuring Easter egg decorating and other
arts-and-crafts activities, a cake lottery, a surprise draw and refreshments,
the event promises fun for the whole family. Although the party is for library
members only, those who are not members can sign up for (or renew) membership
onsite.
Entrance is 3 euro per child; children
under age two enter free. Kids should bring medium-sized hard-boiled eggs,
preferably with white shells (some eggs will be available to buy at the party).
Funds raised will support the library’s activities and events.
Founded in 1973 to serve the
English-speaking community, the Children’s Lending Library is a nonprofit,
volunteer-run association located in the St. James Church Undercroft. The library
collection is available to both adults and children, and offers a wide
selection of fiction and non-fiction books, videos, DVDs and audio books in
English. The library is open to families and anyone who wants to volunteer.
