For the first time, a low-cost brand has appeared in Florence’s high fashion district. H&M has opened Cos, its budget-chic boutique, in the striking seventeenth-century Palazzo Dudley-Navone, on the corner of via della Spada and via Tornabuoni. The Swedish chain offers high-end design at affordable prices. November will also see the long-awaited Eataly opening in via Martelli. The Florence store will sell fine food products and cookbooks as well as offering a place to eat and try foods before buying them.
