Batistuta will return to the hallowed turf of the Franchi stadium for one match only.
It will be a journey back in time for fans of the much loved football star. On May 19 at 8pm, a charity match will kick off between teams Nazionale Cantanti and italy’s charity organization Emergency. Antognoni and Gabriel Omar Batistuta will play in the latter team, with the former champion donning his famous number 9 Fiorentina shirt to the delight of the supporters.
Proceeds from the match will go to Emergency.
