The European Medical Writers Association will be holding its 39th conference in Florence. Members from pharmaceutical, medical, and technological industries will gather at the Hotel Mediterraneo in Florence from the 6th to the 8th of November. Over 25 workshops, seminars, and discussions will be held, each addressing different facets of medical writing and related areas of interest.

The opening event will be a discussion of the needs medical societies have for medical writers in the Mediterranean region. This will be followed by a networking reception with an authentic Tuscan spread, along with an interesting game meant to inspire medical writing.

For more information, as well as the program for the conference, please visit the EMWA website at www.emwa.org. Those of you with Android or Apple phones will also be able to download the ‘EMWA Conference’ app to make sure you don’t miss any important events. Booking early will allow you to secure a spot in any of the workshops, as well as entitle you to the early bird discount.
