Beginning May 27 and ending September 24, venues around Florence will host six dinners as part of the Orti e Cenacoli project.
Organized by Florence’s Chamber of Commerce, with the backing of the City of Florence and Expo 2015, the events will feature locally grown ingredients put to use by renowned Tuscan chefs like Filippo Saporito, Marco Stabile and Maria Probst. They will replicate simple age-old recipes of the main monastic orders. The dinners will be held in evocative settings such as the cenacle of Santo Spirito.
