Star-watchers will be on the alert when Celebrity Fight Night returns to Florence for a second edition on September 10 to 14.

Organized by the U.S.-based Celebrity Fight Night Foundation, founded 21 years ago by Muhammed Ali, the event raises funds for charities such as the Andrea Bocelli Foundation and the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center.

Last year’s guests included George Clooney with Amal Alamuddin, David Foster, Lionel Richie, John Legend, Sophia Loren and Laura Pausini, among others, raising more than six million dollars.

On September 10, celebrities will be welcomed to Florence’s Four Seasons Hotel, followed by a cocktail reception and live entertainment by chamber musicians of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino at the boutique of Florentine watchmaker Officine Panerai, near the Duomo, after which Andrea Bocelli will greet guests at the Accademia gallery for dinner under Michelangelo’s David.

On September 11, Bocelli will host an evening at his house in Forte dei Marmi, and the next day’s activities include a day in Rome with a private visit to the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums. The Celebrity Fight Night then wraps up with a dinner in the Salone dei Cinquecento featuring a charity auction led by fashion designers Stefano Ricci and Ermanno Scervino.
