The programme of top exhibitions Un Anno Ad Arte has been suspended for 2016. The decision comes after the appointment of new directors at the Uffizi, Accademia and the Bargello. Next year’s exhibitions have been put on hold to allow the new directors—Eike Schmidt at the Uffizi, Cecilie Hollberg at the Accademia and Paola D’Agostino at the Bargallo—to settle into their positions in the forthcoming months and take control of their respective museums.
