Based in Berlin, Japanese composer and vibraphonist Masayoshi Fujita produces ambient sound that has been described as ‘sophisticated and dreamlike, minimalist and intimate.’ Originally a drummer, when Fujita took up the vibraphone, he brought to it a peculiar mix of neoclassical tendencies and modern rhythms.
