Open to the public until January 15, 2017, this exhibition is the first time that the Ente Cassa is displaying the works, having stored them away due to the value of the various pieces. Titled “In Collection. An art exhibition from 13th to the 20th century”, the show includes 900 works, with sculptures and paintings by the likes of Giotto and Filippino Lippi as well as pieces by the Macchiaioli movement and naturalist painters such as Giovanni Fattori. The collection also counts a large number of drawings and lithographs by Pietro Annigoni and Luciano Guarnieri.

The exhibition starts with an “immersion room” in the entrance hall, an introduction to the collection, with multimedia projections. Visiting the collection is free, although advance booking is required. Email info@entecarifirenze.it or call 055/5384001 for more information.
