At 9.09pm Italy time, on Monday, November 14, 2016, climb up high or stay close to Florence’s monuments to watch the Supermoon show, a natural spectacle that rarely occurs on Earth. The moon’s diameter will appear 14 per cent larger than usual; its disc fully illuminated by the Sun. The last supermoon of this magnitude occurred in 1948, with the next one scheduled in 2034.
