The home delivery restaurant meal service Deliveroo has come to Florence after its successes in the Italian cities of Milan, Rome and Piacenza. Now operational, the online platform allows users to order dishes from the city’s restaurants, pizzerias and ice-cream parlours.

The service is available in the historic centre, almost the entire city north of the river, in the San Niccolò neighbourhood and part of Firenze Sud. In the coming weeks the service will extend to the whole of the city. There are currently 28 food businesses registered on the site in Florence, including Macinata, Obicà, Briscola, Il Pizzaiuolo, Cucina Torcicoda, Grom, Arnold Coffee and Miss Song.

You enter your postcode on the website and select a restaurant and your preferred dish. Minimum orders cost 15 euro and the delivery fee is always 2.50 euro. Deliveroo guarantees delivery of your food within 30 minutes.
