Shimmy your way through the winter with Sambafit, a new fitness class that blends Brazilian samba with a high-octane cardio workout. Upbeat, entertaining and calorie consuming, Sambafit is great for first timers and all those looking for something new on the fitness front. Led by instructor Martina Niccolai at Klab, the music will warm up you as a South American fiesta hits the city this winter. Take to the ice this winter for a game of ice stock, a cross between curling and bowling. At Firenze Winter Park, teams of two, four or eight take turns in aiming for a target known as the Daube. Those who come closest, win. The ice stock courts are open from 8pm to midnight from Monday to Sunday, but you need to book. Cost: 35 euro per court per hour. Those looking for a more classical approach to winter sports can opt for ice skating (skate hire 2 euro, entrance 6 euro Monday to Friday, 8 euro at weekends) or skiing instead.
