20 women voice their support for #TheFirstLast, a crowdfunding campaign organized by American non-profit association Advancing Women Artists Foundation to restore the first ever Last Supper painted by early woman nun-artist Plautilla Nelli. It’s over seven meters long and two meters high, a crazy accomplishment for a female artist at any time in history, let alone in 1570s.) Once completed, it will be displayed in pride of place in Florence’s Santa Maria Novella Museum.
