Masterpieces by Paul Cézanne and Giorgio Morandi take centre stage at the Fondazione Magnani-Rocca, in Mamiano di Traversetolo, near Parma.

Running through September 10, 2017, the Magnani Foundation presents a small yet significant exhibition inspired by Cézanne’s Bathers, which is on display for the first time in Italy, on loan from Moscow’s Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. The painting sparks a dialogue between the works by Cezanne and Morandi in the Magnani collection, focusing on their shared meditation on landscape and spatial analysis in still life. For more information, see the Magnani Foundation’s website.

The Spazio Oberdan in Milan focuses on the late Canadian racing driver Gilles Villeneuve in the exhibition “Wow, Gilles!” through July 16. Featuring more than 170 photographs by renowned sports photojournalist Ercole Colombo, the show also includes images from the Villeneuve Museum in Berthierville (Canada) and the 1981 Ferrari 126CK Turbo engine. For more information, see Spazio Oberdan’s website.
