Beach time is practically a tenet in the sacred rites of Tuscan summer. But what if you can’t escape to the coast—or you have young children and the beach is more of a hassle than a haven?

Klab Marignolle pools offer a splashy, family-friendly summer space in the southwestern hills above the city (Galluzzo-Soffiano area). The three pools—a 10,000 square meter summer oasis the largest of its kind in Florence—are far enough from the heat and activity of the historic center for a true getaway, yet easy to reach in a matter of minutes.

New and noteworthy this year is the introduction of a kids and family area: when the little ones get water-weary, games, activities and equipment in the green play grounds will beckon and keep them busy.

But adults also have plenty of alternatives to swimming and poolside lounging. Break a sweat or de-stress with beach-style games: wander over to the Wellness & Fun section, where ping-pong, hockey, table football and entertainment options will keep you occupied.

And if you find yourself in that gray area between finishing work and fleeing for summer ferie, free WiFi is available throughout the complex—wrap up any unfinished business, then turn on that Out of Office email and kick back in the Jacuzzi or the Tranquility corner, a space set up for 360-degree relaxation.

Customers also have access to Aquafitness courses, changing rooms, showers and parking: you don’t need to be a full-time member, but can simply make it a day escape.

Jump in to summer at Klab Marignolle.
