Local authorities in Siena and administrators of the International School of Siena gathered on September 18 to lay the first stone of the institute’s new campus, symbolically ushering in a new era for the institution. The new building will accommodate close to 300 students between the ages of 3 and 18, guaranteeing space for those already enrolled and allowing for continued expansion.

3,400 square meters and two floors make up the covered surface area, in addition to 3,500 square meters for outdoor activities. The ground floor, with its easy access to outdoor learning and playtime opportunities, will house the Early Years (preschool) and Primary Years (elementary school) programs, while the first floor will hold the Middle Years students and, in the future, a Diploma Years group.

The school is part of the International School of Europe, a member of the Inspired group, a network of international institutes investing in Italy through an agreement with GSK Vaccines srl. English is the primary language used in all courses and the school offers certified International Baccalaureate programs.
