The Fratelli Piccini Golf Challenge returns to the green on May 20 for the much-awaited annual event for golf lovers.

Held just outside Florence in the verdant setting of Circolo Golf Ugolino, the challenge is open to all players, adults, teenagers and children alike, keen to try their hand at the historic 18 holes of the oldest golf course in Italy. This year’s event is a special one as it celebrates the 115th anniversary of Fratelli Piccini, home to the finest Florentine jewellery since 1903.

At 6:30pm the challenge will make way for an exclusive festa with cocktails and a buffet supper, embellished with fun and frolics for everyone.

The event has a charitable side: part of the proceeds, paired by a generous donation from Fratelli Piccini, will be donated to Fondazione Italiana di Leniterapia, a charity ensuring that terminally ill patients and their families receive the support they need, as well as promoting scientific research and continued professional development in the medical field.

Readers of The Florentine are invited to the event.

Call 055 294768 and speak with Mrs. Josephine Borriello to reserve your place.
