EXHIBITION/Hallelujah Toscana. Marco Paoli.
Until September 10
Ph. Marco Paoli
Marco Paoli brings his moving and impactful photographs to the Museo degli Innocenti in this exhibition that celebrates the raw and overlooked industrial and natural beauty of Tuscany. His works propel the contradictions and nuances of arguably one of the most photographed places on the planet into the public conscience. The photographs are accompanied by poetry from Alba Donati who gives voice to the visual surface of the photographs. The photos, notably absent of any kind of human presence, nevertheless succeed in communicating the human effect on various landscapes and buildings of Tuscany; Villa Corsini in San Casciano, Villa Mansi in Lucca and la Fonte delle Fate in Poggibonsi are just some of the locations included.
