Costume design the focus of this unique exhibition

 
 

A unique exhibition dedicated to the award-winning cinematographic costume designer Massimo Cantini Parrini comes to the Museo del Tessuto in Prato. Over 30 costumes made in collaboration with the Sartoria Tirelli of Rome for the film Pinocchio by Matteo Garrone, released in cinemas on December 19, will be on show. The exhibition is divided into two sections, the first dedicated to the award-winning Italian costume designer and his sources of inspiration, the second involves the display of over thirty costumes of the main characters of the film, accompanied by images taken from the film itself as well as props. Tribute to the Florentine Noblewoman

 

 

With the 500 Cosimo Caterina celebrations coming to an end, the tribute to Caterina de’ Medici exhibition features objects linked to the Italian noblewoman including her writings, medals, reproductions of her jewels and other artifacts. Tickets cost 3 euro, and also grant entry to the Global Looks exhibition with Dutch, Spanish and Portuguese maps from the collections of the Grand Duke Cosimo III de’Medici.
