The Galileo Museum has created an educational series for secondary schools, providing free video lessons on a range of topics. Three different learning journeys can be activated such as “The wonderful imperfection of the universe from Galileo Galilei to Primo Levi”, focusing on the influence of science and technology on philosophy, literature and society; “Galileo in Musica”, examining song lyrics inspired by the great scientist and his unexpected influence on pop music; and finally “Gulliver’s travels or … science in the clouds” taking inspiration from Jonathan Swift’s masterpiece and his caricature of the eighteenth-century scientific world.
