Special summer occasions

 

 

Starting from August 6 and for the following four Thursdays, evenings of music, food and entertainment take place at the synagogue. The eighth edition of the event series is organized by the Jewish Community of Florence and the Jewish Tuscan Network in collaboration with the Municipality of Florence-Estate Fiorentina with the contribution of the Tuscany Region and Fondazione CR Firenze. On opening nights, it will also be possible to visit the Synagogue at the reduced price of 5 euro.  Admission is free starting from 7pm, reservations required here.

Two popular passions combined

 

 

Tuscan wineries host cartoonists from the International Comics School from Friday to Monday in a unique combination in collaboration with the Tuscan Wine Tourism Movement. A rich programme of events takes place throughout Tuscany, from Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano to Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Chianti, taking in also Carmignano, Maremma and Bolgheri. Events include picnics, walks, visits, music and tastings, as well as evenings in which cartoonists will create their works live.

Relax and learn in the Uffizi, Palazzo Pitti and Boboli Gardens as a family. Organized by the Uffizi Galleries with the contribution of Unicoop Firenze, events are scheduled through until September. There are two types of events for young people to enjoy, thematic guided tours on weekends aimed at 6-14 year olds, and free storytelling sessions for all ages for at the Boboli Gardens during the week from Tuesday to Friday (10-11.30am).
