A photography exhibition titled The colours and smiles of Patty will be on display from October 10-17 at the Semiottagano delle Murate, piazza Madonna della Neve 8, where photographs of Patrizia Wyss will be on display. Proceeds from the sale of the photographs will be used to supportthe non-profit organization’s projects.

From October 11, the 6 historic gates of the city, the Puccini Theatre, Tuscany Hall, Istituto degli Innocenti, and the entrance of the Careggi Company will light up pink every evening to highlight the importance of awareness and prevention.

More than 2,000 shops will take part in the BEPINK campaign, exhibiting a pink box and other items developed by the non-profit. The flyer distributed by Firenze in Rosa can be transformed into a pink bow to wear, photograph, and share on social channels by tagging @firenzinrosa or using the hashtag #FirenzeinRosa.

The Punto Rosa (pink point) will offer free ultrasound breast checks for women up to 45 years and over 75 years of age who are not included in the regional screening programme, reservations have already been fully booked. The ACF Fiorentina women’s team will participate in the checks, and help in the promotion.

President of Firenze in Rosa, Lucia De Ranieri commented, “Sport has always been at the centre of the FIRENZE IN ROSA Onlus initiatives because, together with a healthy diet, it represents a fundamental tool to reduce the risk factors for the onset of numerous diseases and to guarantee our well-being.”
