Contemporary culture spot SOTTO al British kicked off its programming with UNDON3, presented by ON.irica, premiered on April 2 and performed as part of a launch event on April 6. Under the artistic direction of Marisa Garreffa, SOTTO al British was introduced by Director of The British Institute of Florence, Simon Gammell, setting out the space’s aims to bridge the local and international communities and offer the city a hub for arts of all kinds.

Undon3‘s artistic and musical immersive experience enthralled those present as sound designer Nicola Pedroni and illustrator Federico Bria brought to life a drawing in front of the audience’s eyes, accompanied by whistles, chains, bangs, bells played by bows, and alarm clocks in an ever-surprising crescendo where soundscapes met mixed media drawing. ON.irica’s producer is Antonio Putrino Gallo, with production manager, Lorenzo Volpini.

The art and culture venue, SOTTO al British, is located at Lungarno Guicciardini 15, accessed via the ground floor entrance under the Harold Acton Library.
